Reincarnation

Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962), the wife of the American President, was once asked if she believed that she could be the reincarnation of someone else. She replied saying that the idea of having been someone else is no stranger than being who she is now.

Nearly every culture believed and believes in reincarnation in one form or another and it is part of most religions except Christianity, (although it was until it was condemned by the Second Council of Constantinople in 553 AD).
