Fairies
Theres a Place I Know
Theres a place I know where a magnificent subtlety occurs,
A magical space where the feeling of imagination mixes and stirs,
Come with me there and lay on moss dampened by the morning dew,
Well stay here until the sky loses its tincture of blue,
Then Ill show how we can fly away on a moonbeams crest
And count shooting stars as they journey from the East to the West.
Well travel back down to Earth on a liberated spirit of a cloud,
Meet the troubadours of spring playing melodies so loud
And well stay here again to hear the chorus of the dawn,
For its here where well see where butterflies are born.
Well taste the green of the grass and smell the song of a bird,
Touch the colours of nature and see sights youve never heard.
Theres a hidden river I know full of laughing rainbow fish,
Where each bubble they create can conceal a secret wish.
Streams collect into waterfalls inside an amethyst cave,
Here magicians create existence with just one single wave.
In an elderberry glade fairies gather in the nook of a tree,
They will let you watch them if you can be as quiet as quiet can be.
This will also allow the pixies to perform their elemental dance,
With their garlands of fluff reflecting every little nuance.
In the distance crystal fountains radiate a jewel coloured haze,
This is the Font of Renewal and its powers will amaze.
Two thousand mist angels glide above the Golden Temple of Noon,
Calling the Guardians of the Grove and they will be here quite soon.
These beings protect against any negative thoughts that may arise,
From creatures like you that reason and hypothesise.
Stay with me here where things are not as they seem,
But this is real life, it is the Garden of a Dream.
Search for all this and a shrouded gateway you will find,
Its a door that leads into the mysterious kingdoms of your mind.
